Environmental Heritage

Welcome to Environmental Pathways

Ballallaba is fostering new collaborations for environmental pathways. Our first objective was to establish a catchment management plan for the Upper Molonglo River at Captains Flat (NSW). (Take the journey, see the link on the right)

However, that project began to evolve into other areas such as community development and cultural obligations. It began to dawn on the group that we too needed to be included in a holistic consideration for environmental management.

In studying the catchment dynamics, our group has been guided into the research areas of biology, hydrology and anthropology. The groups journey into scientific research awakened the realisation that there are hidden mysteries within Nature and science that can be accessed through the Spirit for the benefit of all.

By embracing the obligations contained within holistic communities of interest between Nature and science, Ballallaba then becomes the bridge of hope between our dreams and realities. For in our dreams all is possible. However, to balance the needs of humanity and Nature, our dreams need the support of science to lay the foundation on which to build our bridge of hope.

As we journey through the establishment of environmental pathways, the Ballallaba environmental journey will study the inter-connection of the environmental trilogy. This study should lead us to a better understanding of the inter-dependancies of the social, physical and Spiritual needs of all aspects of the lands living environment.

Please consider: a tripod cannot stand on two legs, nor can humanity survive if any of its three survival imperatives are degraded or removed.
